GUTS: Greatness Under Tremendous Stress

A Navy SEAL veteran’s proven, battle-tested guide for developing grit and resilience, overcoming obstacles, and living life to the fullest.

What does it take to set a goal or have a dream, and then actually achieve it? What does it take to turn fear and stress into foresight, motivation, and action? It takes GUTS. No one knows this better than decorated Navy SEAL veteran Brian “Iron Ed” Hiner. During more than 20 years of service, Hiner witnessed the paralyzing power of fear firsthand―not just on the battlefield but in every aspect of our lives. He also learned that it’s possible to overcome those fears and turn negative self-doubt into positive accomplishments. Even more, he knows that anyone can do it―if you have GUTS.

GUTS― Greatness Under Tremendous Stress―is more than a motivation guide. It’s a complete life-changing program full of powerful, transformational strategies straight from the Navy SEAL playbook. It’s like a personal boot camp for retraining the brain, breaking bad habits and thought patterns, taking risks and turning apathy into action.

First Fast Fearless

Lead Tough – Lead Smart – Lead Like a Navy SEAL!

SEAL-style leadership is your best weapon in today’s complex business terrain!

Beyond extreme physical and combat achievements, SEALs are known for mental toughness, bias for action, decisiveness, creative thinking, adaptability, and perseverance—all under extreme stress.  They get things done through, by, and with others.  SEALs have a unique way of approaching every challenge and opportunity that enables them to do what others can’t—or simply won’t.

Competing in the global economy isn’t unlike guerrilla warfare.  Your competitors come at you from unexpected places with surprising force, and the marketplace is constantly shifting.  As a leader, what do you do to empower your business and your people not only to survive but to thrive—and win?

First Fast Fearless is a practical guide for the business leader who wants to learn from the best of the best how to build and lead effective teams in conditions of volatility, uncertainty, complexity, ambiguity, and constant change.

As one of the most experienced trainers in Navy SEAL history, “Iron Ed” Hiner reveals how to:

"Love, Humility, and Stewardship, some of surprising elements that make First, Fast and Fearless a great read"
By: Gordon Tredgold on October 12, 2015

"One of the best books on leadership i have read for a long time. Very well written, with some very interesting information which will surprise many i am sure. When i picked up the book, i didn't expect for the leadership to be based around Humility, Servant Leadership and Stewardship, or for their to be talk of love and caring, these are not the first things that come to mind when you think of the mach world of special forces. But it just goes to show, good leadership, of which these are all elements, is good leadership in any environment. I was very pleasantly surprised and it is a book i will be recommending."

"Outstanding book with clearly laid out path to great leadership in all walks of life"
By: Brookz on October 14, 2015

"This is practical and extremely insightful. Ed Hiner has taken the essence of what makes a Navy SEAL successful and has created a book that allows leaders from all walks of life to utilize the principles that he sets out so well in his book. This is not your typical Navy SEAL war book but rather a reasoned, thoughtful and well organized book that provides both examples and stories to illustrate how to be an effective leader. I for one have taken away a great deal of insight and lessons that I can apply in my life. This book is already on the LA Times best seller list and I can see why. Make sure to read it...you will profit from it."
